There are many ways to celebrate your commitment to each other, and I would be delighted to help you to find the way that is just right for you whether you are planning to celebrate your marriage or hold a commitment ceremony. Indoor or outdoor, small gathering or large, quiet or flamboyant, the ceremony is the key point in the day that celebrates your love and unity.

Many people like the symbolism of the hand tying element of  Handfastings, this can be incorporated into your ceremony.

I offer full handfasting ceremonies based on nature based spiritual beliefs; this is also my path.

Renewal of Vows

Whether you have been together a year and a day, 10 years or 25; renewing your vows is a lovely way to reaffirm your love and commitment to each other. It can be an intimate ceremony or a huge shindig; at the heart of it will be the ceremony celebrating you both, the obstacles you may have overcome and the triumphs you have shared. It would be my pleasure to help you create a ceremony that reflects all that you have come through and all that you hope for in the years ahead.

Baby Naming and Welcome to the family Ceremonies

You may be without religious affiliation but still wish to celebrate the entry of your child into the world or welcome an adopted child into your family. You may wish to follow traditional lines or introduce new rituals that involve older children, other family members and those in the role of god parents or guide parents. I would very much like to help you to plan and create this joyful occasion.

Adult Naming and Rite of Passage Ceremonies

You may be changing your name for many reasons; including gender transition, or emergence from a trauma background, celebrating doing so may strengthen your connection to your identity and present you positively to those you love and care about. It would be a privilege to help you to do this.

You may be wishing to celebrate a graduation, or other life affirming event, whatever it is I will be very happy to help you. If you wish to celebrate an event not mentioned, please contact me to discuss your wishes.

  • Face to face and online appointments
  • I will provide written summaries by email after each appointment.
  • Depending on where your ceremony is, I may discuss with you the necessity for me to travel the day before in order to avoid any travel hold ups. The cost of nearby accommodation would be covered by you, unless I have a friend or relative I can stay with near to the venue.
  • The cost is fully inclusive of any rituals you choose to include in your ceremony although the cost of any items needed will be met by you. I can help you source items needed.
  • I will provide a copy of your ceremony as a keepsake.
